After Stacy turned the switch to "on", my wife and I immediately looked at each other. We couldn't believe how quiet the 800JEXL is! When our old juicer was on, my wife and I practically had to yell at each other to be heard! While the Breville 800JEXL was juicing, Stacy could answer our questions in a normal tone of voice.

The speed of the juicing process really blew our minds! She had no sooner than flipped the "on" switch, and it seemed like the process was complete! We had juice in a matter of seconds!Our "Juiceman" would have taken 3 times as long, and that is with cut up fruits or vegetables.

Apparently, the 800JEXL has a mega powerful 1000 watt motor, that spins at a mind numbing 13000 r.p.m!
I think our old juicer was powered by two small hampsters turning a gear wheel!(just kidding, it was actually 2 rats!)

We also asked Stacy how difficult the 800JEXL is to set up. She replied that it comes with an instruction manual that is easy to understand. She had her's up and running 10 minutes after she got it out of the box!

Finally, we got to taste our batch of apple/pear juice. All I can say is, "WOW!"We were both pleasnatly surprised that the juice was silky smooth, and almost completely free of pulp. Stacy explained that the absence of pulp was partially due to how fast the 800JEXL churned the fruit.

The juice was also the freshest tasting we had ever had! Again, this is partially due to the quality of the fruit, and how fast the juice is produced.

The Breville 800JEXL is efficient, too. We examined the contained pulp, and it was dry as a bone! A sure sign that the juicer is extracting all available juice. We were constantly irritated at how wet the pulp stayed with our "Juiceman."

Finally, the brunch ended, and it was time to put the 800JEXl up. We watched as Stacy easily took it apart and placed the juicing elements in the dishwasher!
